It's no secret that men put a lot of importance on their penises. The penis is an important factor in a man's sexual and psychological health. A larger penis bestows self-confidence, a more active and fulfilling sexual life, and an edge in man's neverending internal battle to be the alpha male. For this reason, many men have wondered who has the largest penis.
Many scientific studies have tried to find answers regarding the biggest human penis. Unfortunately, conflicting results have made a conclusive answer impossible thus far. Penis size also isn't the most ideal subject for study. Of course, all human men want the honor of having the largest penis. Countless ways now exist which can artificially augment a man's natural endowment. This also makes it harder to determine who indeed has the largest penis.
For the average man, the first step is to determine whether he has an average penis. There are several statistics available, which measure average penis sizes. Typically, the average Caucasian male's penis is about 6.2 inches long, with a circumference of 3.2 inches. In studies dating as far back as 1795, however, show that the African Negro race maintains superior penis length and roundness.
Contrary to this, studies conducted by the famed Kinsey Institute found that Negro races maintain only a minimal size advantage. Negroes measure 6.3 inches long and 3.7 inches around, on average. In truth, that Kinsey data was not truly conclusive. The study tested only about 50 black males, in contrast to the 2,500 while males involved in the study. Therefore, the unequal sample doesn't provide a conclusive answer.
With averages established, it's on to the task of determining who has the world's largest penis. Unfortunately, identifying information such as names of those with record-holding penises are difficult to find. The penis sizes themselves are a different story, however. The largest, though unofficial, penis measurement was obtained by Dr. David Reuben. In 1969, he encountered a subject who had a 14-inch penis when erect.
To date, this information remains unverified. With that information bearing little credibility, the official rank of the largest penis belongs to a subject measured by Dr. Robert Dickinson in the early 20th century. This man's penis measured 13.5 inches long, and 6.25 inches in circumference. Other studies, including those conducted by Alfred Kinsey, yielded impressive measurements of between 9.5 and 12 inches.
Today, men all over the world are making claims of having even larger penises than those on record. The problem with such claims today are their natural validity, since there are so many methods of male enhancement now available. As the present record holder's penis was measured nearly a century ago, that nullifies most of our technological advances. Therefore, Dr. Dickinson's documented case remains the most valid candidate for our species' alpha male.
